WHAT’S NEXT FOR PROJECT KK ?

After a successful Project KK event Namibia watches to see what’s next…

It’s an exciting time for the fashion & entertainment industry as the youth have decided to take full charge of ushering the Namibian industries into a new era. So, when you talk about youth making waves in the industry a few names come to mind such as Monochrome magazine, D.B.S Africa and Reggie Films among countless others. Fashion , Music , Comedy, Film & Modelling seem to be killing the game in Namibia this year.

One would think that the country would be filled with model agencies given the large influence social media has on our population and the abundance of beautiful aspiring models. Though that’s true only a select handful of models seem to be able break through to being professional models. Which entails but not limited to runway modelling, being video vixens and brand modelling.

So, when you hear, through the grape vine, about a modelling agency making waves throughout the industry started by an aspiring and inspired young lady, you need to find out what all the fuss is about.

Founded by Jonté   Alicia Deidre Möller,19 (whom is also a designer of Swimwear brand Koning17)

Project KK is the newest and hottest modelling agency making its mark in the entertainment industry. Jonté started the agency in august 2017 and it recently turned 1 years old, which we had the pleasure to attend the birthday celebrations of ,at Capello, in Windhoek on the 25th August 2018.

Project KK currently has an all-female roster and is fully operated by Jonté in the capital of Namibia, Windhoek. The agency has already signed 10 models and seems to be going at full steam as Jonté revealed her new designs from her SS18 KK Collection at the event last month, which showcased some stunning scarlet pieces.(Show in images belows)

Jonté aims to empower aspiring female models and designers as well as tackle social issues concerning young girls throughout Namibia through her agency. As well as inspire Namibian girls to dream as ambitiously as her if not more. Her life motto is “Success is the best revenge.”, which perfectly shows her strong resolve to make a success of herself and her agency.

After seeing the professionalism shown at and the success of the birthday celebratory event, I am able to safely say that Project KK definitely has some more revolutionary surprises in store for the industry. Aside from Jonté’s KK Collection being exhibited at the event we were also entertained by the likes of LMPC, Jaleel, Paradox amongst many more musical acts. The event was quite enjoyable and the vibe was just right as this event set the tone for the massive year Project KK is about to have in 2019. Project KK is definitely something we should all keep on our radars because it’s seems that they have a lot in store for us and the industry and I look forward to seeing what that may be.
