Warehouse Theatre Presents Showcase Namibia

Showcase Namibia is an opportunity for tourists and locals alike to interact with and to be entertained by Namibian cultural performances including song and dance designed to showcase Namibia’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.

Showcase Namibia takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday at 15H30 for N$ 170. The show consists of different performers and performance styles guaranteeing a unique display of local culture. The audience is encouraged to indulge in the sounds of Namibia and to participate in the fun and interactive 45 minute show.

In April this year during the Myran Clayton experience show, The Warehouse Theatre shared with the public the possibilities of them closing doors due to financial constraints. The Warehouse Theatre in partnership with its patrons and the general public held a crowd-sourcing event with the aim of collecting money to be able to sustain itself.

The core of Warehouse Theater’s purpose has always been to make performance art in Namibia easily accessible to the public whilst giving artists a chance to grow their audiences and make a living from doing the work they love.

The Warehouse Theatre opened its doors in 1989 and has been a part of the rhythm of Windhoek city since.
