Trevor Noah Scores A Grammy Nomination

South African comedian and television host Trevor Noah became the first South African to be nominated in the Best Comedy Album nomination.

Trevor Noah has become the seventh act from South Africa to get a Grammy Nomination alongside the likes of Johnny Clegg and Savuka, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Miriam Makeba, Soweto Gospel Choir and Hugh Maskela. Trevor Noah who currently resides in the United States took to Twitter to explain how grateful he was for the nomination.

“Today I woke up to the news that I’ve been nominated for a Grammy Award!!! I’m so grateful”

Trevor Noah is nominated alongside the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, Dave Chappelle and many more.
