The Namibian Women’s Expo 2019
The Namibian Women’s expo which is the only exhibition in Namibia dedicated to helping female business owners grow their client base and boost their visibility, officially kicked off today at Eros Primary school sports field. The Expo aims to create a platform for positive change in young Namibian women by empowering them and preventing gender-based violence which continues to haunt society and to encourage participation from women from all over the country.
The expo is designed specifically for women of all ages and men by providing an array of products, services, performance and topics of discussion all in the one-day event.
The mission is to fight poverty, encourage formal education, expose women to available economic and employment opportunities, minimize teenage pregnancies, educate young men and women on gender-based violence, and provide free access to social workers for professional counselling.
“We want to provide an opportune link to government, local businesses and non-profit organizations” said event organizer Nambwadja. Fun is part of living, the expo will provide a fun, interactive, education and inspirational environment for women of all ages, she said. We encourage all woman and man to make their way to the Eros Primary School sports field and be part of the Namibia Women’s Expo 2019.
