Stevenson Outsmarts Nakathila

Jeremiah Nakathila was outmanoeuvred by Shakur Stevenson who won the fight through a clean 120-107 x3 unanimous decision win.

Namibian boxers are known for their power and most of them prefer to end their fights through knockouts, however, whenever they come up against American boxers they seemed to be exposed especially when boxers are fighting on the counter and being on the defensive which explains why Stevenson landed 46% of punches, compared to Nakathila’s 12%.

Shakur claimed in an interview that Jeremiah is a weird fighter and he also claimed that he did not want to trade blows with him because in the early round he felt Nakathila’s power which raised a concern for him.
