South African Series Reaches Number 1 in 10 Countries!

Blood & Water’ is making head waves as the film now holds the number one spot in the USA on Netflix.

The Black Panther movie had a cultural impact around the world creating a high demand for African content, which is potentially one of the reasons why  Netflix executives took the decision to provide more African content on their streaming platform. Blood & Waters series focuses on a high school student who’s sister was kidnapped as part of a human trafficking ring, the film not only holds the number one spot in the USA but it holds the number one spot on in nine different countries.

Blood & Water is the first South African original series to ever reach the number one spot for top 10 in the USA.
