South Africa Wins COSAFA Cup

Bafana Bafana were crowned COSAFA Cup for a record fifth time after defeating Senegal 5-4 on penalties after neither team could score a goal regulation time.

Before the COSAFA kick-started Namibia, Senegal and South Africa were among the favorites to lift the trophy, however, Namibia’s suffered a shock defeat in their last group match which resulted in their exit, meanwhile, both Senegal and South Africa ended up reaching the final with Bafana Bafana won the tie after they winning the penalty shoot out.
