Slammer Takes On Trap Music
Some might like it, others might not, but we at WBL definitely dig Slammer’s new ventures into trap music. The talented star is set to release his first studio album titled When I Make It later this year and has promised nothing but club bangers. The album will boast 20 tracks with features from DICE, Paul Da Prince, Kanibal, Sunny Boy and a lot more. And judging from his song “Run The Whole Town” he has definitely struck gold and we cannot get enough.
When asked about Trap music in Namibia and the perceptions about it, Slammer says that; “Trap is another element of Hip-Hop and a lot of people here don’t really understand that, especially artists. They feel like trap is for kids, no no no, it’s a sound, it’s a new element.”
The “Week In Week Out” hit maker says that his album does not only feature bangers but also some of the most vulnerable pieces he has done so far like “Broken Homes.”
Finally Slammer says that this is his best contribution to the game and all he hopes for is that the music is received well by his fans and the Namibian population. We know that we are definitely psyched about his work and we are without a doubt his biggest fans right now.
