Sha Sha Becomes First Zimbabwean To Win A BET Award

Zimbabwe’s own Sha Sha recently walked away with the BET Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act award.

Over the years Musicians from East Africa and West Africa have always dominated the international awards and still are to some extent, however, the musicians from SADC nations have begun to catch up to them, because in the last four years the BET Best NEW International Act Award Winners were won by four artists who all come from SADC (Tanzania, South Africa x2 and Zimbabwe) countries.

Sha Sha made history by becoming the first Zimbabwean artist to ever win the award, she thanked people from home and all over the world for supporting her.
