Senegal Make History

Senegal have history after they beat Egypt on penalties to clinch their first-ever African Cup of Nations trophy.

Both Egypt and Senegal started the African Cup of Nations slowly and neither team was considered to make it to the final, however as the tournament progressed both teams started growing into the competition both Mane and Salah started to perform for their respective teams.

Despite a penalty in the first half, Mane ended up scoring the winning penalty that crowned Senegal their first ever African Cup of Nations after failing to win their last two finals.
