Press Release: Hasai Youth Music Awards – Postponed
Hasai Youth Music Awards ( HAYMAs) is an initiative for the youth to recognize their artistic ways of life. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Hasai Youth Music Awards scheduled initially for 2 November 2019 has been postponed to next year. The venue and the timing of the event remain the same and it is just the date that has been postponed. Meaning it is being postponed to 2nd of November 2020.
“Entertainment and recreation is important in every economy and therefore resulting in the youth coming up with alternative ways to socialize and possibly create business opportunities for themselves and job opportunities for others” said Mr Sakkie Haludilu, Director of the organization in a press release.
HAYMAs organizers have been up to their task to ensure that the public is well aware of the event and they also have secured the attention of most of the interested stakeholders. Recreation provides an identity for citizens and is a major factor in the perception of the quality of life in a given community.
The organizers further said: “We understand the trouble caused to you because of this sudden change. All entries are still valid for the next year’s event. Entry fees are non-refundable as stipulated in the previous entry form and another period of entries will be announced soon.”
The organisers promise the event will persist in 2020. In the meantime, they working on a new and easy way to submit artists content online. The requirements have been revised and reduced just to ensure inclusivity of the highest value and that their main objectives and visions are met.

The organisers also stated that they believe this postponement will be beneficial to some artists as they didn’t qualify in the previous entry time frame because of NASCAM registration pending and other factors. The artists are encouraged to visit www.hasaicorp.com as from today and enter their emails for updates as to when the online entries will open.
