Premier League Team of The Week 5
Goalkeeper – Fabianski/West Ham
When the West Ham forwards are underperforming upfront and your center backs are defending horribly, goalkeepers end up taking matters into their own hands to ensure that their teams don’t lose. Fabianski was outstanding against Aston Villa as he made sure that nothing got past him.
Center Back – Serge Aurier/Tottenham Hotspurs
Whenever Aurier plays Tottenham plays well and anyone who chooses not to believe this should’ve watched the first 30 minutes of the Tottenham vs Crystal Palace game as Aurier delivered two assists in those 30 minutes as Spurs cruised to a victory.
Center Back – Toby Alderweireld/Tottenham Hotspurs
As far as passing ability and range Toby Alderweireld’s ability to pick out the long ball every time without fail is simply outstanding, and his defending against Palace was top notch.
Center Back – Tomori/Chelsea
Frank Lampard’s decision to give the Chelsea graduates opportunities in the first team has paid off massively so far as Tomori is the latest youth graduate to excel, as he had an outstanding game against Wolves scoring a ridicules goal and defending well the whole match.
Right Midfield – Son Heung-Min/Tottenham Hotspurs
Left foot or right foot it doesn’t really matter with Son, because either way he gets the job done, and he will always be a nightmare for Palace as he scored a brace against them to pour more misery to their Premier League campaign so far.
Center Midfield – Moussa Djenepo/Southampton
Djenepo scored a brilliant solo goal over the weekend against Sheffield as he showed skill, power, strength, and determination to score his first goal of the season.
Center Midfield – Buendía/Norwich

Buendia potentially displayed the best solo performance on the match in the premier league as Norwich City outplayed Manchester City in the midfield, Buendia provided two assists for his team taking his assist tally to four assists in the Premier League this season. It’s the most by a midfielder in their first five appearances in the competition since 2012-13.
Left Midfield – Sadio Mane/Liverpool
It is becoming considerably difficult play against Mane because he keeps getting better and better, Newcastle became his next victims as he scored a brace to help the Reds go 5 points clear at the top.
Center Forward – Tammy Abraham/Chelsea
Goals in the 2019/20 Premier League season so far:

4 – Everton
5 – Southampton
6 – Leicester City
6 – West Ham
6 – Crystal Palace
6 – Arsenal FC
7 – Tammy Abraham pic.twitter.com/MYUSOuaFrj
It looks like each time Tammy Abraham scores his first goal he follows it up with another goal well at least that’s what he’s been doing as off late, however, this time he decided he was going to take the match ball home as he decided to score a hattrick against Wolves to help Chelsea get the three points.
Center Forward – Callum Wilson/Bournemouth
26 – The most goal involvements by English players in the Premier League since the start of last season:

Raheem Sterling – 32 (22G, 10A)
CALLUM WILSON – 26 (17G, 9A)
Jamie Vardy – 26 (21G, 5A)
Harry Kane – 25 (20G, 5A)
Marcus Rashford – 20 (13G, 7A)

The race to be England’s number 9 for EURO 2020 is starting to hot up as Callum Wilson is another to make a statement on why he should be England’s main man, Callum Wilson at the double as Bournemouth took 3 points against Everton.
Center Forward – Aubameyang/Arsenal
Arsenal have started the Premier League campaign poorly and the result against Newcastle is not a surprise to many anymore, however, Pierre Aubameyang was outstanding upfront for the gunners doing what a typical poacher would do which score goals.
