2020 is proving to be a good year and a bad year for Namibian footballers and Namibian football in general. The good news is a few Namibian footballers playing outside the country have managed to provide consistent performance by playing at the highest level, some players managed to secure contracts outside the countries which will be helpful to the players and the nation in the long run.
Acting Secretary General of the Namibia Football Association Franco Cosmos reveals that the FA took the decision to withdraw form the CHAN Finals in wake of various directives.

The bad news is The CHAN was a perfect opportunity for local Namibians we play in the NPL to get scouted and play outside the country but with the outbreak of the coronavirus and the Namibian league being inactive players might find themselves out of shape when the league resumes again.
