Namibia Opens World Cup Campaign With a Loss

Namibia kicked off their World Cup Pool B campaign losing to the Azzurri  47-22 in a troublesome weather conditions in Osaka, Japan.

Damian Stevens gave Namibia a dream start, but Italy responded through a penalty try, as a result they would pour more misery to the Namibians as Tommaso Allan and Tito Tebaldi got tries for Italy.

Edoardo Padovani, Carlo Canna, Jake Polledri, Matteo Minozzi all got their names on the scoresheet for the Italians,  JC Greyling and Chad Plato did, however consolations for Namibia.
