Namibia Narrowly Lose To Argentina XV In Open Nations Cup

The Argentina XV unfastened the Nations Cup with a 39-25 win over Namibia. This was a close match as Namibia displayed a good performance despite losing against Argentina.

 It was 25-29 at 70 minutes. More competitive than expected given Namibia didn’t bring their strongest XI, they got easily beaten by U20 sides recently & Argentina XV on better form this year. The inaugural half saw the Argentina XV well beneath their best. They were trailing the Africans before scoring on the thump of half-time to level the scores at 12-12 at the midway stage. In the second half, the Argentina XV would linger below their best but would however lift their game amply.

Nortje, Mouton, and Greyling got the tries for Namibia while Loubser got 2 conversations successfully.
