Namibia Loses Iconic Film Writer

Namibian Filmmaker, writer, and director of narrative films Oshosheni Hiveluah died of a short illness.

Oshosheni Hiveluah is considered as a legend in the Namibian filming industry as she directed a lot of films she was also Namibia’s ambassadors for MISA’s Women to Watch in 2015. Oshosheni films have screened at numerous film festivals around the world and have been awarded several prizes.

Oshosheni will forever be remembered as the driving force for bringing the Namibian film industry to the International world.
