Namibia & Botswana planning to Co-Host AFCON 2027

Reports have recently emerged that Botswana had reached neighboring country Namibia so that the two countries could host AFCON 2027.

Botswana and Namibia aren’t football giants in Africa, however Namibia over the recent years has produced a quality number of footballers, however, the background issues within the NFA has resulted in football slowing down in Namibia with the football leagues failing to have any matches. 

It’s unclear why both countries would want to host AFCON 2027 because these tournaments have a habit of making losses to the host nations.
