Meet Social Butterfly Xuro Milton
If you’re ever stranded somewhere, believe me you’d want him as your companion, for he is the true definition of fun. Born October 25th, Xuro is a flight attended for Air Namibia by profession and lives in the capital city Windhoek. He enjoys the outdoors and if he is not serving treats 39000 feet in the sky, he does what he is naturally best at and that’s making people laugh. Always presenting a warm and vibrant presence, Xuro has definitely made a name for himself on the Namibian comedy scene. He possesses a captivating personality and effortlessly engages people with his dynamic outlook on life, that is to have fun and live your best life right now.
What makes him even more intriguing is the fact that he has so much more then what meets the eye, not only defined by comedy he is also a voice over artist and recently collaborated with team Miss Namibia. One of his most popular acts is reading his own version of the 8 o’clock news which he shares on social platforms and yes that’s when one meets his bubbly yet hilarious alter ego OC Ebs.
OC Ebs is a female domestic worker, a character he fully embraces. When asked about the character he mentions growing up as a child, being surrounded by crazy aunts who were always entertaining and full of life and evidently, they are his inspiration for his character. When asked what message he wishes to convey through OC Ebs, Xuro mentions that he would like to express a message of hope and even though times are tough it helps when one does it with a smile.
Xuro is definitely here so stay and ready to give comedy a different viewpoint. He is recently nominated for the Simply You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards 2019, in the category of Best Male Actor and Favorite Comedian of the year. Not everyone may enjoy his act, but he doesn’t bother himself to care of what others think and enjoys the little he does for those who appreciate him as he is. Having gained popularity and a confidence boost he has embarked on a journey to take his one-women show to a stage and connect with a live audience. Adding to that he has also done numerous appearances in towns all across Namibia, with some of the proceeds from the sold-out shows donated to charity. He revealed that he was inspired by the people who love the OC Ebs character to start the show.
With writing his own stories to juggling a full-time job that takes him out of the country all the time, he is also an occasional master of ceremony doing weddings and some corporate events. He is an actor in his own right, staring up a storm of unpredictable interactions and with a following of over 31 000 he most certainly has the countries attention. Xuro is humble and believes that there is space for everyone in the market, one should just to be authentic.
