Mavis Braga Announces Date For Website Launch

Namibian speaker, author, civil engineer, and philanthropist Mavis Braga Elias will be having a website launch on the 28th of February.

A presenter by birth, a writer by heart, a civil engineer by qualification, a marketing executive by profession, and everyone’s favorite blogger, Mavis is pretty much a jack of all traders. Last year she was the MC at the Simply You Magazine Awards and walked away with the 2019 Blogger of the year award. Mavis will also be going on a radio tour to advertise her website launch.

What do you have to be afraid of? You have so much going for you…⠀ ⠀ There’s this impression that the world has created that just because you have a lot going for you that fear evades you. It doesn’t. ⠀ ⠀ Some of the bravest people I know encounter fear, in-varying quantities, but fear nonetheless. It’s as though the more they have going for them the harder it gets. The more they achieve the steeper the slope to the next thing. ⠀ ⠀ Yesterday I found myself sobbing, frustrated at my inability to pull it together and do the work that needs to be done. I was afraid and fear was holding me back from being optimally productive. ⠀ ⠀ In that moment, I was bombarded by thoughts like – how can you be crying when you have so much going for you? How can you be crying when you are supposed to be strong? How can you be crying when you go out into the world telling people about strength?⠀ ⠀ Actually, how can I not cry? There is so much love that I have in me, I want to speak my truth in hopes that it will help someone. I want to ensure that a girl out there doesn’t go through half the learning battles I went through. I want to impact, I want to be a driver of change. It’s in that deep rooted want that my fear comes from. I don’t want to get it wrong.
