Phura died yesterday morning in a Swakopmund hospital after an illness.
Phura Duwe hails from Khorixas before Phura rose to fame he started off being in bands and became a solo artist and dropped his solo album in 2003 which won him “Best Newcomer” at the Sanlam-NBC Music Awards. Since then he has released 7 studio albums.
