KCCA FC Beats African Stars To Advance

African Stars nearly qualified for the next round of the CAF but they came up short against KCCA of Uganda who ended up scoring two goals in the last 10 minutes to win the tie 4-3 on aggregate.

African Stars went into the game knowing that a 0-0 draw or if they scored first they would be through to the next round that was the clear message. African Stars nearly pulled off an upset but a stunning free-kick from Kizza on the 80th minute ensured that KCCA were well on their way to winning the tie. KCCA teenager Okello wrapped up the tie after scoring on the 88th minute.

KCCA will advance home while African Stars will return home to resume matters in the Namibian Premier League as they will try to defend their title.
