Kasi Vibe Continues To Grow
One of Namibia’s highly projected gathering of entrepreneurs, corporate exhibitors as well as entertainment seekers, returned with its fifth edition this past weekend.
Kasi Vibe aims to create a podium closer to the people in Katutura and adjoining areas. Kasi Vibe empowers local communities and develops the economy in various ways, including providing a prospect for local start-ups and entrepreneurs to meet. Which is why people look forward to attending it and supporting local products. Kasi Vibe started on a small scale and it has grown tremendously in popularity. Monica Geingob the 1st Lady showed up at the Kasi Vibe to show support to the youth.
The organizers suffered a few minor setbacks during the event. Some attendees were denied entry at the gates after the parking lot at the stadium became too crowded. Security guards fired teargas and whipped attendees who struggled to enter the festival, later causing a stampede. Lioness also withdraw from performing after she had a disagreement with one of the organizer who “disrespected” her.
Despite having some minor setbacks Kasi Vibe still proved to be a huge success and it’s clearly becoming one of the biggest events in Namibia.
