Kaizer Chiefs Have Terminated Virgil Vries Contract

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Virgil Vries has left the club with immediate effect after they ‘entered into a mutual termination and release agreement’.

Various rumors have reported that Namibian international goalkeeper, Virgil Vries, has terminated his contract with Kazier Chiefs after having fallen out of favor with coach Ernst Middendorp, and his official departure has now been confirmed after they agreed to terminate his deal with immediate effect.

The 29-year-old played just five Absa Premiership games, and lasted less than one year of the three-year contract that he signed at the start of the season.
