Kaboy Kamakili The Fastest Rising Namibian Musician
Kaboy Kamakili has had a dazzling start to his music career thanks to the aid of social media folks who took notice and decided to stimulate his music which resulted in him scoring major gigs. Two weeks ago Kaboy was just an ordinary underground artist.

Intercity Nam sponsored Kaboy’s trip to Windhoek to perform at KasiVibe Vol. 6, however, it got better as Kaboy would become the first Namibian artist to perform at KasiVibe Festival for two consecutive nights. Kaboy Kamakili’s performance at KasiVibe proved to be important and also proved to be a life-changing experience as his fan base increased rapidly. The social media world hyped Kaboy’s music so much that major producers like DJ Kboz jumped on board to collaborate with him.
Within a week of major fame, Kaboy Kamakili has manage to secure interviews with Nust FM, Omulunga Radio and the Namibian Sun. He is also expected to appear on the Whatagwan show on NBC. His management has announced that the young talented artist is scheduled to release his debut album in August this year. A campaign to have him perform at the NAMAS is already in plan.
