Jonas Junius Jonas walked away with a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Qualification tournament.

With the rise of football and the Namibian netball team starting to make international headlines, Boxing has always been the sport in which Namibia has always written the headlines. Dakar, Senegal was the venue where Jonas Junius dominated the Lightweight division as he defeated Colin Louis Richarno of Mauritius.

Jonas Junius will represent Namibia at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which will start in July.
