Jeiyo’s Awesome Debut Album With GMP

Jeiyo who is currenlty signed by GMP dropped an insane project titled ‘Life’ which was his first under the label has people going crazy.

The album features artists like  Gazza, Blacksheep, Tulisan, UNAM Choir, Sam E Lee Jones and Yung Hyphy. Life is a mixed album, the album in general caters to everyone, it is a mixture of Afro Trap, Hip Hop, Shambo and House. Highlighting some of the songs on the album ‘Lets party ft Blacksheep’ is a smooth club banger which can have listeners dancing in slow motion, everything about the track is so smooth including the lyrics, this style of production brings out the best out of blacksheep. ‘One For Me’ has that kind of old school vibe mixed with a bit of Nigerian flavor in it.

The whole album in general has an old school vibe in it which maybe makes it stand out from most albums dropped this year. ‘Be With You’ Ft Unam Choir is a masterpiece this is  by far one of my favorite songs on the album it touches my soul. ‘Potato Potato’ has Emtee inspiration written all over it on this song Jeiyo sings in oshiwambo on trap beats, which comes out brilliantly definitely a song that every DJ needs to have in their playlist.

Jeiyo’s debut album marks the end of GMP being a one man label and this album could result in Jeiyo crossing the borders.
