Album Review
James Omlongo drops *Tambuleni Eshi* visuals
James Omlongo, a performing artist and influencer whose true name is Moses Shikwaya, just released a music video for a song from his album “Makeve Empire.” Tambuleni Eshi is the name of a song. It’s one of those hard ko kwaito songs that we used to listen to back in the days.
The video was shot and directed by Gabby in three locations: Khomasdal, Funky Town Mall, and Otjomuise. The song contains no features. It is a solo song produced by DJ Lazza Xbox Hit Maker. The artist identifies himself as a number ten. Because number tens are always the best players in the field. And he considers himself to be the number ten in this industry. He’s a down-to-earth guy who enjoys making jokes.
Music videos not only clarify and magnify the words in the music videos, but they can also provide musicians the exposure they need to succeed by presenting the music in a more engaging way.The musician reveals why he felt compelled to make the music video, “I was compelled to release the video early because I shared a snippet on Instagram and said, “500 comments and I’ll post the video,” and to my surprise, I received 500 comments within an hour and people are still commenting. I had to drop it because I didn’t want to disappoint the people who support me. And I’m looking forward to making my fans and family more proud.”
Kondja Mdakadaka, known as Samuele
Ngodji, was the inspiration for the album. As a child, the artist would listen to his music and be inspired by it. The artist, like many other aspiring artists, was terrified of performing in front of an audience. “I’ve seen how certain musicians act and how they don’t seem to get a good response from their followers, which is a real shame. I’ve always been afraid of performing in front of a large audience. But, as I overcame my concerns, I gradually began to attain my objectives, and now I am a man who enjoys performing.”
The artist is likely to drop a single at the end of this month.
Tambuleni Eshi is available on Youtube. For bookings you can contact Omlongo’s manager on 0814206024. The artist ended with this last words, ” fellow Namibians, support your artists. We really need your support more than anything, the way don’t support people you dont know.”
