Isaskar Bio Gurirab walked away with two awards, MTC Namibia Premiership player of the season and top scorer prizes at the topflight league’s awards ceremony in Windhoek on Saturday.

From the dusty streets of Uis to being a product of Imcor Chiefs to joining ‘Life Fighters’ It’s very rare you find a player debuting in the Namibian Premier League and scoring 22 goals. Well this is the life of Isaskar Gurirab, who has not only booked his way to AFCON but he possibly also booked himself a spot on the first 11 team sheet, and with Namibia going up against teams like Morocco, Ivory Coast, and South Africa, this is possibly the best chance for Isaskar Gurirab not only to shine in the AFCON but to possibly get scouted by either PSL teams or European teams.
