Helalia Johannes Dominates Two Half Marathon

Helalia Johannes conveyed a sterling enactment to surpass a strong field of equally extraordinary runners to win the 21-km half marathon of the prestigious Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon which was held in Cape Town.

Johannes to claimed top honors in the vastly competitive half marathon clocked a remarkable time of 01:10:29 and was closely followed by Zimbabwe’s Betha Chikanga in second place and Fortunate Chidzivo who is also from Zimbabwe took third place.

Helalia Johannes is 38 years old and she is still going strong and she might feature for Namibia at the Olympics.
