Helalia Johannes Breaks Another Record

Helalia Johannes, broke another record as she won the Durban Women’s Challenge 10km race setting a new national record in the process. 

Helalia Johannes stretched a massive gap and charged over the line in 30:59 dropping the rest of the field before the 4km mark. The record which was  held by Colleen de Reuck last year is no more after Helalia set a new record.

Helalia Johannes finished in first place with a record time of 30:59 followed by Teshome Tadu Nare of Ethiopia.
