Gowaseb Wins Gold Medal At The 2019 World Summer Games

Ruben Gowaseb has made the nation proud yet again as he manged to clinch the countries first gold medal at World Summer Games being held in Abu Dhabi United Emirates.

When athletes get old they start to lose pace, however Gowaseb’s case is different because he keeps getting faster and faster. Ruben won the men’s division four marathon race in a time of 1:46:33.00 to secure the country’s first gold medal.

The Namibian unified basketball team looked promising at the games as they manage to win their two opening games by defeating Iraq and Algeria.
