Fiddy The Rapper Talks About His New Projecct
Around last year this time Fiddy The Rapper dropped his debut project titled The Freshman Mixtape, a year later he’s back again with his second project titled The Freshman Mixtape 2 Utility.
Since dropping his first mixtape Fiddy The Rapper’s buzz has grown rapidly in the country which has resulted in him getting booked to perform at shows and even performing in the United States, Fiddy sat down with Wamboes Be Like to explain how long it took him to create this project.
“It actually took a year, it was the first time I worked with so many people and I assumed I could get it done by April but I had so much learning to do on working with different artists and creatives”
Hip Hop today is not the same as it was back in the day as most rappers focus on catchy hooks and less content instead of focusing on metaphors, however Fiddy The Rapper promised music lovers bars and metaphors.
“Bars, metaphors, layers and of course Namibian stories. I showcase quite a bit of my competitive nature when it comes to Rap on this project. It really is just meant to be fun so there’s also a lot of experimenting on this project”
With the music production and beat picking selection always being the key to a successful project Fiddy explains who took charge for the production part of this project.
“Majority of the songs were produced by Jacob from Utility Beats in Denmark. Most of the Mixing and Mastering was done by 808Penda, in addition he produced the beat for “Poison”. “D.T.R” was produced, mixed and mastered by Groovy Martin while other notable producers include Spadez Pro for “Culture” and Naftal “Humor”.
