English Teams Advanced To The Next Round

English teams in the Champions League have exhibited an excellent display, as Manchester City and Liverpool find themselves in the next round.

Despite suffering a surprise 1-0 lose against Inter Milan at home, Liverpool did just enough to advance to the next round after they won the first leg 2-0 at San Siro, as for Manchester City they did the damage in the first leg after the crushed Sporting Lisbon 5-0, they played to a 0-0 draw in the return leg.

In other results both FC Bayern and Real Madrid both made huge comebacks’ from their respective ties to join the two English power houses.
