Deon Hotto Wins Kick off Footballer of The Season

Deon Hotto made history recently by becoming the first Namibian footballer ever to be awarded the Kick off Footballer of The Season.

Deon Hotto beat the likes of Hlompho Kekana of PSL reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns, Thembinkosi Lorch of Orlando Pirates, Lebohang Maboe of Mamelodi Sundowns, Jabu Maluleke of Polokwane City, Gift Motupa of Bidvest Wits, Mwape Musonda of Black Leopards and Highlands Park’s Mothobi Mvala to claim the award. Hotto played a key role down the left flank for the Clever Boys, finishing the campaign with five goals and 14 assists.

Deon Hotto is included in the Namibian squad which will go to Egypt for the African Cup of Nations. He will go up against Ziyech from Morroco, Nicolas Pepe from Ivory Coast and Percy Tau from South Africa.
