Dagboek the Future Luminary
Writing is an art and a craft that must be developed through deliberate practice, and 18-year-old Fergie So-Oabeb, who was born and raised in Walvis Bay, is Namibia’s future Luminous. “Never take a writer for granted.” They are snipers armed with words; they know how to aim with sentences, fire with paragraphs, and immortalize their skills inverse.” Nikita Gill once said. Dagboek is a clear representation of those quoted words.
The young writer draws inspiration from his daily activities as well as a few chats he has with his peers in which he engages them in a variety of topics.
“There is no specific reason behind the name dagboek I chose it because I posted quotes on a daily”
For inspiration and some kick in the butt encouragement and motivations. Many Namibians and others all around the world are reposting his remarks and messages, it’s like he knows exactly what they’re going through. The writer feels that less is more and is focused on presenting brief and impactful messages. He hopes to level up and publish a book or a few in the future.
Ending of his short interview, the writer said, “Sometimes people have an issue with what I post, which I understand but that’s life,” he said when asked about typical misconceptions about the writer. “However, they don’t need to post unpleasant stuff about me simply because they don’t relate.” Dagboek is an inspiredion.
