College Of The Arts Open Day

Still suffering from the January Blues? Then the College Of The Arts has got just the right thing to cure your spirits. This coming Saturday, the 25^th of January 2020, is set to be a day to remember as COTA brings us a super fun-filled festival called the COTA OPEN DAY from 09H00 to 22H00 at the Katutura Community Arts Centre. This annual event will only set you back N$20-00.

“The doors open at 09h00 and we will then start with poetry, comedy and dance. Then music from 10h00 in the morning already. So the programme will progress throughout the day” – Justine Hamupolo, Event Coordinator.

The “Epic Music Show” will see no less than 15 Stars hitting the stage. Among them are Tate Buti, Dice, Kanibal, Sunny Boy, KK, Anne Singer and Tulisan to name a few. No matter what your favourite genre of music is, I’m sure this star-studded line-up will have you covered as it features rappers, Kwaito stars, DJ’s and singers doing numerous musical styles.

The open day also coincides with the launch of COTA FM and COTA Online TV. “COTA FM will be available at www.cotafm.com as well as on an SHOUTcast platforms available to android and Apple phones. Whilst COTA Online TV will be available on YouTube. The event will be live streamed on Facebook” she added.
