Christine Mbomba Scores A New Record

After announcing herself to the Athletics world at the Olympics and going to Nairobi to claim the U/20 title, Mbomba went into the Diamond League intending to make more history.

Christine Mbomba’s excellent streak of collecting medals continued once again as she narrowly won the gold medal in the Women’s 200M sprint at the Diamond League race in, Zurich, Switzerland.   Breaking records is becoming a somewhat hobby for Mbomba as she set a new U/20 record clocking an impressive  21.78 seconds.

With this latest victory, Christine Mboma has become the first-ever Namibian to win at The Diamond League which is an impressive achievement.
