Chelsea’s excellent run continues as they beat Europa League winners Villarreal 5-4 on penalties to clinch The UEFA Super Cup.
After winning the Champions League, Chelsea were poised to kickstart the new season in a UEFA Super Cup final against Villarreal, by no means was this going to be an easy game for Chelsea, however, they had a positive start after Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring, nonetheless, it was Villarreal from there on who created a couple of good chances and they would equalize through Gerardo Moreno who scored a stunning goal.
