Brave Warriors Manager Announces Provisional Squad

Brave Warriors interim manager Bobby Samaria has announced a very strong 32 provisional squad ahead of Namibia’s clashes against Congo and Togo.

The lack of league football within Namibia has hindered the Brave Warriors from qualifying for AFCON, however, the current crop of Namibian footballers have an opportunity to make history and that would be to put themselves into a good position to qualify for the World Cup.

The NFA dropped the 32 provisional squad on social media and here is the list of players who are deemed worthy for Bobby Samaria’s selection.

Goalkeepers: Edward Maova, Kamaijanda Ndisiro, Lodyt Kazapua and Virgil Vries

Defenders: Kennedy Amutenya, Riaan Hanamub, Ivan Kamberipa, Gebhardt Ananias, Larry Horaeb, Teberius Lombardt, Approcius Petrus, Denzil Haoseb, Charles Hambira and Immanuel Heita.

Midfielders: Dynamo Fredericks, Wendell Rudath, Alfeus Handura, Manfred Starke, Wangu Gome, Deon Hotto, Absalom Iimbondi, Wesley Katjiteo, Marcel Papama, Prins Tjiueza and Willy Stephanus.

Forwards: Elmo Kambindu, Issaskar Gurirab, Monis Omseb, Peter Shalulile, Joslin Kamatuka, Benson Shilongo and Junias Theophilus
