Brave Warriors Down But Not Out Yet

Namibia played their second AFCON game against neighbors Bafana Bafana and yet again lost 1-0 via a set piece error.

The Brave Warriors dominated the game in the first half but couldn’t score a goal because they lacked the missing puzzle in the final third. South Africa sucker punched the Brave Warriors on the 68th minute as Bongani Zungu scored from a Percy Tau set piece to head home. While it was expected that Namibia would rise in attack and try get an equalizer, it was Bafana Bafana who had more chances to score but they couldn’t get anything past Kazapua who has been excellent for the Brave Warriors.

Brave Warriors would have to beat Ivory Coast and hope Morocco does them a favor by beating South Africa,
