Beatrice Masilingi Wins Silver At The World Athletics

Beatrice Masilingi walked away with the silver medal at The World Athletics U/20 Championships as Tina Clayton won the gold medal.

Beatrice Masilingi who originally is a 400m sprinter, found herself sprinting in a 100m race, where she ended up finishing in second place, which is a remarkable achievement considering the little time, she had to train to sprint in a 100M race, Masilingi cloaked an impressive time of 11.39.

From here onwards, it will only get better for Masilingi who will become a threat to all runners going forward, which provides an extremely exciting prospect for Namibian athletics.
