Atletico Madrid win as Barcelona & Real Madrid Stumble

Atletico Madrid won their 2nd game of the season while both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona as they both dropped points.

With Messi gone and Ronaldo being a distant memory in Madrid, La Liga appears to be at a normal state now as the fear factor from the big two is no longer a huge influence, which pretty much explains why pundits in La Liga have labeled Atletico Madrid as favorite’s to retain their crown.

Atleti have a 100% record so far as they beat Celta and Elche, Barcelona on the other hand comfortably beat Real Sociedad but dropped points against Bilbao as they were held to a 1-1 draw, Real Madrid won their first game 4-1 but were held to a 3-3 draw against Levante, a match that’s already being seen as a contender for La Liga match of the season.
