Atletico Madrid Crowned La Liga Champions

Atletico Madrid have won their first La Liga title for the first time in seven years after a tough match against Real Valladolid.

La Liga this season went right down the wire as the two Madrid teams fought for the crown with Real Madrid going into the final game knowing that they would have to beat Villarreal and hope that Atletico Madrid either draw or lose, however, Atletico Madrid ended up beating Valladolid 2-1 thanks to goals by Angel Correa and Luis Suarez.

Luis Suarez played a very essential role in Atletico Madrid winning the title as he scored key goals that helped Atleti win, he has ended the season with 21 goals.
