African Stars drawn to play against KCCA Football Club of Uganda
With the International competitions having ended, club football is returning to our screens again as African Stars have been drawn to face KCCA Football Club of Uganda in the CAF Champions League 2019/2020 Preliminary rounds.
KCCA won the Ugandan Premier League last season finishing eight points ahead of Vipers. The tie could not have come at a worst time for the NPL runner ups, as their manager last season, Bobby Samaria left his position to take over the Brave Warriors job. However, it has been rumored that African Stars is in talks with Asante Kotoko’s technical director and former Ghanaian captain CK Akonnor, to take over as the new manager.
The first leg of the contest takes place over the weekend of 9-11 August 2019 in Windhoek.
