Abdallah has stated that hip hop is the most influential genre in the world and it is a circle he wanted to be part of.

First of all, hip hop is the most influential genre today. With that being said, it’s a circle I want to be a part of. It’s direct and yet has depth and history.

To do and share soul music with a person, allows him or her to open up, slow down and reflect on themselves and face whatever demons they need to overcome just with the instrument being the waves in the water and my lyrics directing the way like as the whole song being the journey of a boat in the sea. I love making music where people look at themselves and try to put pride aside and connect, like my music and brand W.A.Y which stands for Words Affect You represents Peace, Freedom, and Self-Empowerment.

There are certain artists who inspire most musicians to do music, Abdallah has claimed that 2Pac, Eminem, Adele, and Emile Sande inspired him to do music.

Eminem, 2 Pac, Emeli Sande, and Adele’s music inspired me in their own ways. Eminem and 2 Pac both inspired to listen to rap music and taught me to not be afraid of speech and self-expression and to fight for what you believe in. Emeli Sande’s lyrics inspired the poetry out of me and Adele taught me not to be afraid to put your feelings in your voice when recording or performing. Put all those elements together and you find Abdallah the hip-hop soul artist. But of course, one always evolves.

Abdallah was signed to Zenfica Records a record label based in London but has claimed that he left the label because things didn’t work out.

My first time and last time signed was by Zenfica records in 2018. A label based in London owned by Collin Mogagabe for 7 months but never worked out as nothing was happening and been on my own and no difference was made, so had to kindly leave.
