2022 AFCON Group Stage Draw Confirmed

The draw for the 2022 African Cup of Nations group stage has been released with Cameroon going toe to toe with Burkina Faso on the opening day.

In the previous African Cup of Nations, SADC was well represented, as the region had up to eight nations competing with both South Africa & Madagascar making it into the Quarter Final, however in the 2022 edition their the SADC region will have a low representative with only Zimbabwe and Malawi being the representatives.

So far there appears to be no group of death in the 2022 AFCON edition as the group stages draw looks straightforward.
